The Kempower Power Unit (CPU) is a modular and scalable fast-charging cabinet for electric passenger cars, electric commercial vehicles, and electric off-highway vehicles. Also suitable for electric marine operations. Whether you need a lot of EV charging power in retail, at a worksite, or for a large fleet, the Kempower C Series Power Unit is for you.

With Kempower Power Unit’s modular structure, a single CPU offers power from 50 kW to 200 kW. Two to three CPU cabinets can be added together, for a total of 600 kW. When your business grows and you need more charging power, the Kempower Power Unit can be expanded by adding mores cabinets and/or modules to cover your needs.

The Kempower Power Unit (CPU) is designed to serve a large number of electric vehicles. As your business grows, the system is easily scaled up accordingly, to a maximum of 600kW, due to the modular rack-style structure of the cabinet with add-on power modules to furnish cabinets to their full potential. The weatherproof cabinet frame and a special coating of the electronics on modules ensure that the CPU cabinets can be installed both indoors and outdoors. They are tested for tough weather and can endure (Australian) sun and dust, rain, snow, and dirt. The versatility offers nearly limitless possibilities via charging cables and pantographs.

Note:

The standard passenger electric vehicle battery voltage is 400VDC, which perfectly suits a 500VDC charging system. Heavy vehicle/buses utilise a higher battery voltage, around 615VDC, requiring a 800VDC system.

For a 500VDC C Series system, Kempower offer an Adaptive Voltage approach. Where two modules can combine to provide a 1000VDC output, so that 800VDC passenger vehicles (Porsche Taycan) receive their maximum charge.

The Kempower satellite charging system is the best choice for Charge Point Operators, charging site planners, and anyone looking for the best-in-class fast charging system. There can be up to 8 x Satellites in one Kempower fast charging satellite system, either 4 x Satellites with dual charging outlet, or 8 x Satellites with single charging outlet.

Kempower Satellites are designed so they can be easily installed in most locations. Thanks to their small footprint, they also fit charging sites with limited space. The cable management solution (pat. pend.) makes handling the heavy charging cable effortless and easy. Kempower Satellites are equipped with a user-friendly, intuitive touch screen and RFID reader. The charging session can also be followed on a mobile phone.
